In Estonia there is is BLOGIT firm that brings together blogges and firms, marketing specialists etc. Last Saturday BLOGIT organized a class for bloggers that I attended. There were several bloggers and marketing specialists and Mihkel Raud (a well known musician and journalist in Estonia) gave a talk. Some of his points were well familiar to me (as I am a scholar and a university instructor, I write various texts all the time). Because I am not in marketing (and have a personal blog rather than a company blog), some issues did not concern me. It was informative to hear a gerneral review of various platforms: Facebook is good but it is not your own, who knows what happens to it in 10 years; blogs are quite important and flexible. Inasmuch as one deals with design and visual side, Pinterest and Istagram are quite instumental. I talked to other bloggers (no knitting or fashion bloggers were present) how we can be mutually useful. We received little presents (haircare, notebook etc). The bag has a nice tag with the address of my blog.
I took my knitting with me.
Ja lõpuks rätiku pilt.
And finally a picture of the shawl.
