Shetlandi jaki test ja uus kudum/Test-knit for the Shetland cardi and a new knit

If you use the same pattern but different yarns, you get two knits with a rather distinct mood. Katja wanted to test-knit this cardi and she has finished it, see more on her blog. The stitch pattern agrees with a variegated yarn and Katja is a gread admirer of Noro for quite a logn time (see yarn and needles detalis in her post).
Kiitos, Katja!

Aga mul on sellest jakist alles jäänud kõvasti musta lõnga. Ostustasin kokku panna peenvillasega, et oleks väike värvivahe. See pilt on kontrastsem, kui on tegelikkuses.
And I have quite a lot of black yarn left from this cardi. I decided to combine it with laceweight wool to get a sligt difference between the colours. The picture is more contrasting than the reality.
Siin on lõngad: must on Merino Gold (Madame Tricote) ja hall on Haapsalu (Midara).
Here are the yarns: the black one is Merino Gold (by Madame Tricote) and the grey one is Haapsalu (by Midara).

Mulla on ajatus tehdä toinenkin. Yksivärinen ja pidempi helma. Ihana malli.

Katja, kiitos! Tietysti myös yksivärinen on hyvä juttu.
