I am knitting further the swatch from Raasiku lace yarn. As stated above, I like the yarn. After some repeats of Vausabakiri and arrows I decided to try ladybug stitch (lepatriinukiri in Estonian; you can find it in Haapsalu sall book). It is one of these univresal stitches, suitable for wraps, shawls, tops etc. The well-known Butterfly top from Rowan 37 is done in this stitch. Afterwards I will decide wheather I want to add another stitch pattern.
Täna sain Katja värvitud lõnga. Mõnusad rohelised toonid, seda nimetatakse inglise keeles teal. Mulle meeldib. Mõlemad on Järbo täisvillased lõngad. 2 tokki jämedamat ja 1 tokk peenemat lõnga 100g/600 m. Suurepärane värv, aitäh, Katja!
Today I got yarn dyed by Katja. Lovely teal shades. I like it. Both are Järbo pure wool. 2 skeins are thicker and one is thiner wool, 200 g/600 m. Beautiful colour, thank you, Katja! Kiitos!
