While the scarf is blocking, some thoughts have occurred to me. First, as I knit shawls and scarves not as frequently as other things, I have forgotten to get more pins.
Teiseks, erinevate mustrite kokkusobitamine. Mitte ainult ilu mõttes või aritmeetilises mõttes (et silmuste arv klapiks jms), vaid ka erineva kudumistiheduse mõttes. Näiteks lehemuster on tihkem kui lepatriinukiri. Antud juhul see ei sega, aga nt sviitri või kleidi puhul on oluline.
Second, combining various stitch patterns. Not only in the esthetic sense or pure arithmetics (that the number of stitches should match etc) but also as far as different gauge is concerned. For example, the leaf pattern is denser than the "lady-bug" pattern. In this particular case it does not matter but it may matter if you are knitting a sweater or a dress.
Antud juhul improviseerisin lihtsa äärepitsi. Kuna siin on juba kaks erinevat rikkalikku mustrit, ei tahaks üle koormata. Loodetavasti saan varsti näidata korralikke pilte, kus värv on ka õige.
In this case I improvised a simple edge stitch. Whereas two rich patterns are already present here, I did not want to overload. Hopefully, I will be able to show proper pictures soon with the right colour.
