Veel ühe sviitri pilte/Pictures of yet another sweater

Sviiter sai hulk aega tagasi valmis, läksin seda näitama Domus Linum poe perenaisele Küllile ja selgus, et see sobib talle suurepäraselt. Mis siis muud kui pildistada uue omaniku seljas.
The sweater was completed a while ago and I went to Domus Linum to show it to Külli, the owner, and it came out that it perfectly suits her. What else can I do but to photograph the new owner modelling the sweater.

Selle suve topid/This summer tops

Selleks suveks on mul 3 toppi, ei välista, et teen jällge midagi patent- või poolpatentkoes.
I have 3 tops for this summer and it is entirly possible that I will make something else in brioche or half-brioche stitch.

Ülemine must topp on tencel-puvilla segu (Katia, Tencel Cotton), alumine must on puuvillasest. Hall topp on puuvilla-polüamiidi segust (Alize Cotton Gold). Seda viimast lõnga olen juba kiitnud.
The black top in the top picture is tencel-cotton blend (Katia, Tencel cotton),  the black one in the bottom is cotton. The grey top is from cotton-polyamide blend (Alize Cotton Gold). I have praised this yarn elsewhere.

Vahelduseks üks rätik/A shawl for a change

Kirjutasin siin, et sain Martin's Lab käsitsi värvitud lõngu. Nüüd mõtlesin, et prooviks ühte konstruktsiooni ja alustasingi täna hommikul. Õpetus tuleb kindlasti.
I wrote here that I had received some hand-dyed yarns from Martin's Lab. Now I decided to try out a certain construction and started today in the morning. There will be a pattern, for sure.

Sviitri seiklused/Adventures of a sweater

Näitan nüüd suvesviitrit. Koos on kaks lõnga: Bodrum (Alize, 50 % linane, 50 % polüamiid) ja peenvillane (100 g/1500 m või isegi peenem), vardad 3 mm.
Here are some pictures of the summer sweater. I combined two yarns: Bodrum (by Alize, 50 % linen, 50 % polyamide) and laceweight wool (100 g/1500 m or even thinner), needles 3 mm.

Kõik oli kena, aga polnud kindlust, et Bodrum-lõnga jätkub. Tundus, et siiski ei jätku. Läksin poodi, hankisin ühe toki juurde. Lõpuks selgus, et seda uut tokki kulus ainult mõni meeter!
Everything was fine but I was not sure whether I have enough Bodrum. It seemed like I was running out of it. I went to the store and purchased one more ball. Finally, it came out that I needed only a couple of metres from the new ball!

Nagu varem kirjutasin, see on kena muster ja seda peaks proovima ka mõne muu lõngaga.
As I wrote earlier, it is a beautiful stitch pattern and I should try it also with some other yarn.

Sviiter jämedast mohäärist/Sweater from thick mohair

See on Adele's Mohair/Marianne's Mohair lõng, 50 g/180 m, üsna pehme ja suhteliselt karvane. Mingeid mustreid eriti ei talu. Väike erand on võrgulised mustrid nagu siin. Koon õpetuse jaoks ümmarguse passega lihtsat sviitrit.
This yarn is by Adele's Mohair/Marianne's Mohair, 50 g/180 m, very soft and relatively hairy. It is not suitable for stitch patterns. A small exception are mesh stitches like here. I am making this simple cricular yoke sweater for a pattern.

Samas vaimus/In the same spirit

Nagu kirjutasin eelmises postituses, harutasin tagasi ja tegin veel mõned kahandused (see mudel lubab käigu peal reguleerida). Nüüd on vaja kududa veel paar mustrikorda alla. Ei tea, kas lõnga jätkub. Muster meeldib väga, peaks proovima ka mohääriga. Kirjutan kunagi hiljem, mille poolest see muster erineb paljudest analoogsetest.
As I wrote in the previous post, I ripped some portion of the torso and made some more decreases (this construction allows adjustment as you go). Now I have to knit downwards a couple of repeats. I am not sure whether I have enough yarn. I like the stitch pattern quite a lot and should try it with mohair. Later I will write how this pattern differs from a lot of similar patterns.
