Believe it or not but the yarn has the colour of lilac. In the pictures you see gray. Yesterday in the evening we looked and discussed it with my family and decided that a collar like this one would be redundant. Sometimes it is a clear answer.

Robin, thank you very much! This is a good quality mohair and it is not itchy at all. However, this is highly individual and some people cannot tolerate even mohair with silk. Are you thinking about trying mohair?

This is a pretty piece of knitting! Very gentle and classy - and you look really great and pretty in it. The photos are getting better and better with each note, too!

I love to knit with mohair and silk blend (Kidsilk Haze, or Elann Silken Kydd), but have made wintry garments or shawls and scarves with it, not for summer. But I love your light tops and jackets, and I think I should try something like that!

Robin, I suggest you can try a vest or a small thing. Of course when it its hot outside you cannot wear this but when it gets somewhat chilly in the evening, such a piece of clothing can be practical.
