Siūlų oazė ja Leedu lõngad/ Siūlų oazė and Lithuanian yarns

Eile käisin uues poes nimega Siūlų oazė (Lõngade oaas tõlkes). See pood avati möödunud sügisel.
Yesterday I visited a new shop named Siūlų oazė (Yarn oasis in English). The shop was opend last Autumn. The saleswoman did not allow to take pictures but was eager to share information. The shop is situated in a small wooden house not far from the Kalvarijų market place. The homepage is being pretty well maintained (although the English version is under construction) and the lack of pictures is not critical.
Juba mitmendat korda puutun Leedus kokku niisuguse asjaga: sama lõng võib erinevates poodides olla täiesti erinevate nimede all. Nähes üsna tuttava näoga lõnga küsisin, miks see on poes Stella nime all, kuigi seda toodab Teksrena. Müüja seletaski, et poodidesse vahendavad erinevad firmad ja igaüks paneb oma etiketi. Nüüd tean, aga Ravelrys on seetõttu päris segadus. Sama firma lõng figureerib vähemalt 2 eri nime all Ravelrys: Teksrena, Any (Eestis Pronksi poes). Karnaluksis on see lihtsalt "maavillane". Kõne all olevas poes on Stella ja veel mingeid variante. Tuleb ilmselt veelkord täpsustada. Et jutt oleks selge, panen siia Teksrena kodulehe lingi, info on olemas ka inglise keeles. Sealt saab korraliku ülevaate värvikaardist.
Several times in Lithuania I've been encountering the same phenomena: the same yarn has different names in different shops. Sometimes it is clear that a company only winds and packages yarns (for instance Alvita who exports also to Estonia some Italian yarns). But I had never imagined the scale of this phenomenon: every retailer sticks a new label with a new name. When I saw a familiar yarn, I asked why it had the label Stella, although it is produced by Teksrena. The saleswoman explained that there are different retailrs and everybody has own label. Now I know it but there is a real mess on Ravelry because of this. The production of the same company has at least 2 different entries on Ravelry: Teksrena and Any (as in Pronksi shop in Estonia). In Karnaluks it is just "country yarn". In the mentioned store it is Stella and some other versions as well. It would be good to clarify this. In order to make the story clear, I am posting the link to Teksrena homepage; the information is available in English as well. There you can get a good idea of the colours.
Lõng meenutab mõnevõrra Aade Lõnga toodangut (eriti üleminekuvärvidega lõngad). Siiski on erinevusi. Kuna siin maksab see lõng vähem kui Eestis, ostsin mõned tokid seeliku jaoks ja alustasin.
The yarn is somewhat similar to Aade Lõng (especially variegated versions). Still there are differences. Here the yarn is cheaper than in Estonia and I bought some skeins for a skirt and started.

Siin on kirjas, mis siin on. Ma ei kuulu nende hulka, kes pelgavad ükskõik millist sünteetikat. Seeliku puhul on sünteetika isegi hea, kude püsib vormis.
Here the composition of the yarn is written. I do not belong to those who are afraid of any artificial fibers. Artificial fibers are even good in a skirt, the fabric stays in shape.

Õige värv on lilla, pildil millegipärast sinakas.
The right colour is purple but for some reason it is blueish in the picture.

Kootud on peaaegu üks tokk.
I have used almost one skein.

Lovely pattern and color of the yarn :-)) The stitch definition looks great in this yarn :-))
I personally do not like a lot of artificial fibers in clothing, but I would agree that the the skirt would stay in shape better with some synthetic fibers in the yarn:-))
