Nupud/Nupps

Need pole klassikalises mõttes nupud, vaid koepind on nupuline. See on lihtne muster, on mulle alati meeldinud, nüüd selgus, et sobib lõngale.
These are not nupps in the classical sense (what you have in traditional Estonian knitting). It is a simple stitch pattern that I have always liked and now it proved to go well with the yarn.
Lõnga sain talvel Vilniusest Diteksase poest. See on villa ja polüamiidi segu. Metraaži ei tea, aga ilmselt 100 g/300 m või sinnapoole. Vardad 4 mm.
I got this yarn in Vilnius at Diteksas yarn shop. It is a wool and polyamide blend. I don't know the exact yardage but probably something around 100 g/300 m. Needles 4 mm.

Minu lapsepõlve muster. Olin vist umbes 14, kui terve kampsuni selle koega kudusin. Villase. Erkpunase :)

Anneli, kohe kujutasin ette, milline kampsun Sul oli! Mul on kusagil vana Käsitöö, kus on midagi sarnast, ainult et ilmselt mohäärist. Kui leian üles, postitan. Mõned asjad on ära leierdatud ja neid ei taha ise teha. Mõned aga tunduvad ajatud. See piir on subjektiivne, muidugimõista. Peaks ka selle üle mõtlema ja sellest kirjutama!

Anna, that pattern is so pretty! Is it possible for you to share it? I love stitches with texture like that one. It looks like the blackberry stitch to me but I am not sure. Thank you!

Kate, yes, please read my next post!

Thank you Anna! It is the stitch I know as blackberry, and is a lovely stitch. At first I thought it might be the peppercorn stitch which also forms a type of nupp or bobble but is made quite differently. Thank you for sharing the directions!
