Peaaegu/Almost

Sviiter on peaaegu valmis. Nüüd on vaja pisut alla kududa. Mõlemad varrukad on olemas, kaelus viimistletud.
The sweater is almost finished. I only have to knit downwards a little bit. Both sleeves are complete and the neck opening has a finishing.

 

 

Teisel pildil on näha, et kaelus läheb keerdu. Aga kui selga panna, siis seda probleemi ei ole. Kudusin maha lõdvalt, sellepärast ongi keerdus, kui pole pingul.
The second picture shows that the neck opening curls. But when I put on the sweater, there is no such problem. I bound off softly and this is why you see it curling, when it is not stretched.

Lühike kohtumine/A short meeting

Tore oli taas Miaga kohtuda. Kohtumine oli lühike, aga jõudsime ikka koos kududa ja tegime paar pilti.
It was nice to meet Mia again. The meeting was short but we managed to knit together for a bit and took some pictures.

 

Aga siin on sviiter, edeneb päris hästi. Loodan, et saan ühe varruka täna valmis.
And here is the sweater, it is progressing nicely. I hope to finish one sleeve today.

Plaani muutus/Change of plans

Ilmselt ei taha patentkude, et ma praegu temaga tegeleksin. Sama lugu: panin sviitri selga (mõlemad varrukad olid juba valmis), tundus ikka liiga ümber, kuigi tegelikult oli vähemalt üks suurus suurem sellest, mida tavaliselt kannan. Siis kunagi hiljem ja mõnest muust lõngast. Kimono erijuhtumi juurde tahan aga tagasi tulla, mul on vist isegi lõng olemas.
Probably, patent stitch does not want me to deal with it right now. It was the same story all over again: I tried on the sweater (both sleeves had been finished) and it seemed to be too clingy, although it was in fact at least one size bigger than what I usually wear. Well, I'l do this later and with a different yarn. Quite sure, I wish to return to the particualr casae of kimono and I probably even have the yarn.

 

Lõng on aga ilusat värvi ja üks lihtne sviiter võib ikka olla. Praegu on vaja veel kududa selja- ja esitüki pikemaks, varsti saab ühendada.
But the yarn has a beautiful colour and there is always a possibility for a simpole sweater. The back and front pieces have to be knitted to be a little longer and can be joined soon.

Kimono erijuhtum/A particular case of kimono sleeve

Praegu ei tee palju juttu, näitan pilti. Kuigi plaane on palju, ikka võitis soov kududa jälle poolpatendis.
I will be brief and just show some pics. Although there is a lot of plans, my wish to knit in half-patent eventually won.

Lõng on Teksrena täisvillane, 100 g/360 m.
The yarn is Teksrena wool, 100 g/360 m.

The bottom picture demonsrates to what extent pickung up stitches straightens the edge. Compare the beginning of the sleeve on the left to the empty hole on the right.

Kohev sall/Fluffy scarf

Sall meeldib mulle väga, ei ole liiga palav, saab kanda ka sees. Külli, tänan piltide eest!

Natuke pilte/Some pictures

Päris üllatav on, et sain salli lõpuni kududa ilma, et ees ootaks veel üllatusi. Tegin niiskeks, ja nagu avata võis, venis sall pikkusesse (eks ole, meriino sisaldusega lõng + kohev poolpatent). Olin arvestanud sellise võimalusega, on isegi hea, et saan salli mitu korda ümber kaela keerata. Loodetavasti saab varsti pildistada minu kaelas. Lõppkokkuvõttes olen salliga väga rahul.
It was rather surprising that I managed to finish the scarf without any surprises in store. I moistened it and, quite logically, the scarf stretched in the length (but of course, one of the fibers is merino + fluffy half-patent stitch). I had expected this and it is even for the bette that I can wind the scarf several times. Hopefully, there will be modelled pictures soon. All in all, I am quite satisfied with the scarf.

Ma ei imesta enam/I am not surprised even slightly

Eelmises postituses saite lugeda isemeelsest lõngast. Plaanisin kolmnurkset rätikut. Kui jõudsin kõige laiema kohani, nägin, et ei lange hästi, kuhjub lõua alla, ühesõnaga, jälle pole õige asi. Siis mõtlesin välja, et võib olla sall, aga mitte tavaline kandiline. Olen praegu poole peal.
In the previous post you read about a moody yarn. I was planning a trianguar shawlette. Once I got to the widest point, I realized the fabric does not fall nicely but gathers under the chin, that is, something is not right. Then I decided that it could be a shawl but not a usual rectangular one. I am approximately in the middle now.

Ma enam ei imesta, kui selgub, et tuleb jälle plaanimuutus. Aga mis sest, patentkude on mõnus ja koon edasi. Annan kindlasti teada, mis lõpuks välja tuleb.
I would not be surprised if it comes out that I have to change the plan once again. Whaterver, patent stitch is pleasant and I continue knitting. I will definitely inform you what will come out if this.
