Kümme aastat/Ten years

Täna saab see blogi kümmeaastaseks. Alguses ei kujutanud endale üldse ette, mis see blogi pidamine on ja kas saan hakkama. Nüüd tuleb välja, et juba kümme aastat on enam-vähem regulaarselt kirjutatud. Blogid hakkavad niisugusel kujul taanduma, sest on tekkinud muud keskkonnad nagu Facebook ja Instagram. Siiski ei plaani ma veel blogist loobuda, kuigi mul on olemas mõlemad nimetatud kanalid ka, vt siin ja siin.
Today this blog is ten years old. In the beginning I had no idea what it means to have a blog or whether I will manage. It comes out that I've been writing my blog more or less regularly for ten years. Blogs in their classical form are on decline because there are new environments like Facebook and Instagram. Still I am not yet giving up blogging, although I have both mentione channels, here and here.

Jälle sama/The same again

Kõik teavad juba, et mulle meeldib kududa sama asja teisest lõngast vms. Pildil on uus hakatis.
Everyone already knows that I like knitting the same design from different yarns etc. Here is a new beginning.

Värv pole õige, tegelikult on alumine sviiter täiesti must ja hakatis tumehall. Umbes kuu aega tagasi proovisin kududa seda mustrit peenikesest mohäärist ja üsna peenikesest villasest. Polnud viga, aga samas polnud õige tunne. Siis lisasin nüüd veel ühe peenvillase, nüüd on kolm lõnga koos ja paistab, et edeneb.
The colours are not right, actually, the sweater in the bottom is completely black and the beginning is dark grey. Approximately a month ago I tried to knit this pattern from thin mohair and rather thin wool. It was kind of fine but something felt not right. So I added another strand of laceweight wool and now there are three yarns held together and it seems working.

I am lucky to get pictures of test knits one after another. Yesterday I got this version of Sherwood shawl from variegated yarn (Elle Kaas, thank you)!

Sain eile korraga kaks pilti kolme rätikuga. Hall: Liisa. Roheline: Katja. Punane: Kaja.

Mõned augulised kudumid/Some knitwear with eyelets

Millegipärast meeldib paljudele auguline kude, just suuremate aukudega. Mulle endale meeldib samuti. Siin pildil on neli tükki, salli tegin eelmisel aastal, kõik muu aga tänavu.
For some unknown reason many like fabric with eylets, especially with larger ones. I like it, too. Here are four knits; the scarf was made last year and the rest during this year.

Varsti tuleb jälle midagi, kuna sai tellitud.
Soon there will be something of the kind because I've got an order.

Since this knit was commissioned by the magazine Käsitöö, I cannot show you much. So here is a small part.
