Mõned proovilapid/Some swatches

Tegin Marianne's Mohair firma jaoks paar proovilappi. Mõlema proovilapi lõng on Linen Mix, mohääri-linase segu. Helesinine auguline on kardigani jaoks.
I made a couple of swatches for Marianne's Mohair. The yarn for both swatches is Linen Mix, mohair-linen blend. The light-blue one is for a cardi.

Hall on patentkoe ja aukude kombinatsioon. See näeb hea välja mõlemal pool, pakun, et võiks teha salli.
The grey one is a combination of brioche stitch and eyelets. It looks nice on both sides and I assume I could make a scarf.

 

Mõned augulised kudumid/Some knitwear with eyelets

Millegipärast meeldib paljudele auguline kude, just suuremate aukudega. Mulle endale meeldib samuti. Siin pildil on neli tükki, salli tegin eelmisel aastal, kõik muu aga tänavu.
For some unknown reason many like fabric with eylets, especially with larger ones. I like it, too. Here are four knits; the scarf was made last year and the rest during this year.

Varsti tuleb jälle midagi, kuna sai tellitud.
Soon there will be something of the kind because I've got an order.

Kulus pisut üle 2 tokki Extra Fine Brushed Kid Mohair ehk pisut alla 500 m ja siis sama palju meetreid meriinot (100 g/1500 m). Vardad 5 mm.
I used up slightly more than 2 balls of Extra Fine Brushed Kid Mohair, or slightly less than 500 m and the same number of metres of merino (100 g/1500 m). Needles 5 mm.I

Rätik/A shawl

Näitan protsessi pilte, tegelikult on rätik juba valmis. Kirjutasin sellest siin.
Here are pics of progress but actually the shawl is already completed. I wrote here about it.

 

Põhimuster on selline, nagu Opera rätiku oma, aga ääre tegin lühikeste rideadega, nagu Sherwoodi rätiku puhul, et oleksid pikemad otsad.
The main pattern is the same as in Opera shawl but the edge has short rows like in the case of Sherwood shawl in order to get longer ends.

Auguline mohäärist jakk/Mohair eyelet cardi

Auke on väga lihtne kududa, pole midagi erilist, aga nad sobivad mitmesugusele lõngale ja on palju igasuguseid variatsioone. Tuli välja päris kena koepind.
Eyelets are rather simple to knit, nothing special, yet they go well with different yarns and there are many variations. The fabric is rather nice.

 

 

Rätik sokilõngast/Sock yarn shawl

Kirjutasin siin Martin's Lab sokilõngast. Nüüd pärast mitmeid katsetusi sai valmis rätik.
I wrote here about Martin's Lab sockyarn. Now after several attempts the shawl is completed.

Põhimuster on poolpatendi ja aukude kombinatsioon. Aga äär on ripskoes ning tänu lühikestele ridadele ei ole tipp nii terava nurgaga ja otsad on pikemad.
The body of the shawl is a combination of half-brioche stitch and eyelets. The edge is in garter stitch and due to short rows the tip does has a less sharper angle and the ends are longer.

Rätik/The shawl

Nüüd on valmis. Kude on pärast leotamist ja pingutamist avanenud, muster paistab kenasti.
Now it is finished. The fabric has opened after soaking and blocking and the pattern is quite visible.

Proovilapp/Swatch

Enne Soome sõitu tegin sellise proovilapi. Muster koob ennast ise. Paistab, et lõngakombinatsioon on paras, Angora 2 ja peenvillane.
Before my trip to Finland I made this swatch. The pattern knits itself up. It appears that the yarn combination is suitable, Angora 2 and laceweight wool.

Sall kolleegile/A scarf for my colleague

Sall meriinovillasest, millest oli juttu eelmises postituses.
The scarf is from merino wool that I described in the previous post.

See on Adele's Mohair'i mohääri-linase segu, väga mõnus on seda kududa. Tuttav mall. Suured augud sõbrustavad selle lõngaga hästi.
This is mohair-linen blend by Adele's Mohair, very pleasant to work with. A familiar pattern. The yarn is quite suitable for large holes.

Midseason scarf, kahekordne õhksilmus/Midseason scarf, dobule yarnover

On küsitud, kuidas kududa tagasireas kahekordne õhksilmus. 1 pp, 1 pp tagumise aasa kaudu.
I was asked how to work double yarnover on wrong side. K1, k1 through back loop.

This is an old pattern, I made it again at the request of the owner of the Domus Linum store. This time the yarn is light grey. All information on Ravelry here (visible to all).

 

 

Võrksoonik/Mesh-rib

Kirjutasin varem, et tahan mustale mütsile kaaslast, lõnga oli kõvasti järel. Aga soonik, mis oli ilus mütsi puhul, polnud enam salli puhul huvitav. Ei olnud võimatu, aga polnud tunnet, et teen õigesti.
I wrote earlier that I wanted a mate for the black hat, especially becasuse I had a lot of yarn left. But the rib that was nice for my hat was quite uninteresting for the scarf. It was not completely impossible but I was not confident that I was doing it right.

Mäletate ehk seda salli aastast 2016. See on üsna klassikaline võrk labase koe põhjal:  1. reas 2 pp kokku, õs, 1 pp, 2. reas 2 ph kokku, õs, 1 pp. On veel ka ripsi põhiseid variante, kui eelnevalt kirjeldatud mustri 1. rida korratakse nii paremal, kui pahemal pool.
Maybe you remember this scarf from 2016. It is quite classical mesh, based on stockinette: in Row 1 k2 tog, yo, k1, in Row 2 p2tog, yo, p1. There is also a garter-based version, if you repeat Row 1 both on even and odd rows.

Jälle kaksikud/Twins again

Jälle kaksikud! Lõngad on erinevad, kuid nii halli kui musta salli põhilong on mohäär. Tundub, et see mudel tahab natuke raskemat lõnga, seetõttu võiks olla kas siidiga mohäär (nagu halli puhul) või siis peenike mohäär kahekordselt/peenvillane kahekordselt.
Twins again! The yarns are different but mohair is the main yarn for both grey and black scarf. It seems that this pattern requires for a heavier yarn, so it could be either silk-mohair (as in the case of the grey scarf) or thin mohair held double/laceweight wool held double.

 

 

Lõng/Yarn: (1) Kid Mohair (BBB, 75 % mohäär/mohair, 25 % polüamiid/polyamide), 25 g/250 m, ~ 500 m; (2) Merinos Extra (BBB, 100 % meriino/merino), 100 g/1500 m, ~500 m.
Vardad/Needles: 4,5 mm.
