Asjade seis/The state of affairs

Kuna poes pole ikka veel lõnga, et saaksin halli sviitri lõpetada, jätkan musta sokilõngasviitrit. Halli sviitri jaoks oleks vaja üsna vähe lõnga: alla peaks kuduma 5-7 cm, ja ongi kogu lugu.
Since the store still does not have yarn for me to be able to finish the grey sweater, I am working on my black sock yarn sweater. I need only a little bit of yarn for the grey sweater: only to knit 5-7 cm of the torso and that's it.

Avastasin, et mulle meeldivad soonikud 2 x 2 ja laiemad. Kaeluses on 2 x 2 soonik (peenemate varrastega, aga lõdvalt maha kootud). Enne soonikut on üks pahempidine rida, on hea eraldusjoon.
I discovered that I like 2 x 2 ribbing and wider ribbing in general. The neck opening has 2 x 2 ribbing (with thinner needles but with a loose bind-off). There is one purl row before the ribbing, it separates the finishing from the rest.

Natuke on näha, et on längus õlad (aga lühikesed read ise pole eriti nähtavad).
You can see that there is a little slope on the shoulders (but short rows are not  quite visible).

Niipalju on praegu kootud. Minu majapidamises pole musti kudumeid kunagi liiga palju. Võib öelda, et selle mudeli proportsioonid on enam-vähem välja töötatud. Edasi võiks proovida mõnest muu koostisega lõngast (aga mitte oluliselt jämedamast). Hästi töötaks ka sokilõng + peenvillane, mis oleks pisut muud värvi.
This is how much I have so far. In my household you can never have too many black knits. You can say that I have more or less worked out the proportions for this construction. Perhaps later I could try a yarn with a different fiber composition (but not very much thicker than this one). Maybe a combination of sock yarn + laceweight wool in a slightly different colour would work well, too.
