Nice pictures :-) I really like such simple forms, they proved to be sooo versatile. And I think sock yarn for pullovers is a good choice, even if it is not pure wool. Or maybe because it is not - I am not so much afraid that the sewater would shrink after washing or so.
Oldnanny, thanks a lot! It depends a lot upon the particular brand of wool: the way of manufacturing, twist etc is rather important. Estonian wool does not stretch. Another thing is that sock yarn sweater is not as worm as a mohair or wool sweater, so it is a good option if you want something lighter.
